last night, while i was injecting massive amounts of lsd into my system, it hit me

i was sitting by the lake side and a drop of water fell into the dimly lit water body that lay in front of me, the ripple reached the edges of the lake and the last wave of the ripple carried on to the ground, like all the world was a huge lake. land, being an illusion (just like gravity) was a part of it, in the cosmic sense, of course. the ripple must have grown for ten minutes or so, with concentric waves emerging continuously from the center.

just before it started drizzling, the ripples created by the water drops that fell from the sky died out before even one concentric wave could emerge. this was because of interference with other ripples.

now take each drop of water to be a human fetus, the birth being the exact moment the drop hits the surface of the lake.

come to think of it, asimov had the right idea after all. earth being home to billions of people, clustered together that lived to be seventy as opposed to the few million that lived isolated on the planet of solaria that lived to be four hundred.

now you would understand the social seclusion people tend to give into once lsd starts working it's magic. it's the most primitive human tendency coming into play here. survival. that's what happens when all of your brain is opened up to you.

i have figured out the cause of death, and if it isn't then it will be mine.
